The explosion, which went off at exactly 1:30pm, occurred right in front of a large military post called JTF Sector 4, which is located in the area called Post Office.
While people with blood drenched bodies were seen scampering for safety and vehicles crashing into each other, soldiers began to shoot sporadically. It is suspected that a suicide bomber had set off the car bomb near the market although no group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
